It is Friday night, and you and your friends are going to the movies. Two of your friends are female and three of your friends are male. One of your male friends tells the group that he wants to choose the movie because he doesn't want to see anything "sappy or romantic." What are some biases that might have influenced him to say this? How does this statement communicate any biases he might have about the types of movies his female friends enjoy?
