What is an example of formal language?

A customers did not enjoy the service they received at the new restaurant

B The service at the restaurant is awful and you shouldn't go there

C I didn't like the food at the restaurant and thought the service was really bad

D that new restaurant is the worst and I'll never go back there again

    The answer is A because in formal speech you shouldn't use first or second person or opinion statements such as "awful".
