The width of Davids rectangular tent is 5 feet. the length is twice the width. Davids rectangular air mattress measures 3 feet by 6 feet. if David puts the air mattress in the tent, how many square feet of floor space will be available for the rest of his things?

    Tent:

    Width = 5

    Length = 10 so 5x10 = 50

    Air mattress:

    3x6 = 18

    So 50 - 18 = 32 feet.

    David will have 32 feet of space in the tent leftover for his other things.
