    Well, given that the word corpse means a dead body, I am going to assume that "a hoary corpse" means B. an extremely old dead body. Hoary means greyish white color, so if a corpse is of that color, it means that the person has been dead for a very long time. The other options do not really have much to do with corpses at all.
