    The song relates to how prejudice in general was used throughout the story. At a young age, kids were taught by there parents how they should view the world by race or social class. The song also relates to how almost everyone in Maycomb County sees Tom Robinson as a black man and not by his heart They didn't see him as a caring man who meant no harm to noyone
