The correct answer is "tradition vs. change"

"Things Fall Apart" is a novel written by Nigerian author Chinua Achebe. The story focuses on the life of Okonkwo. A warrior and chief of the fictional Umuofia clan in Nigeria. As the story develops, it then narrates the influence British colonialism exercises on the clan, as well as encounters with Christian missionaries. Both of these events represent a clash between the Umuofia's beliefs and current practices and new elements coming into play on their daily lives as a product of these two groups (the British and the Christian missionaries).

The epigraph at the beginning of Things Fall Apart conveys the theme of tradition vs. change, as is suggested in the "Turning and turning in the widening gyre". Things keep turning, changing, and th falcon no longer hear the falconer.
