    Maine, New York, New Jersey, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania.

    Its first settlers were Pilgrims from England, who arrived in Massachusetts in 1620.

    Cultural landmark:

    The Statue of Liberty in New York City, designed by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi and built by Gustave Eiffel, it was placed on liberty island in 1886. It represents America's freedom, democracy, abolition of slavery, peace and human rights.

    Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.
