The following question is based on your reading of A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare. The title of the mechanicals' play is "The most lamentable comedy and most cruel death of Pyramus and Thisby." Infer, based on the title and the desciptions of the characters, what this play will be about.

    It might be inferred that it would not be a comedy, but the contrary as it states "most cruel death" and "lamentable comedy". This is used ironically to hint that, in fact, the story is a tragedy, so the reader should not expect sometihng else. The bit of comedy is placed in Botton and the other players who are bad actors and they play a bad version of the play. The tragedy is found in the boy who killed himself.
