One example of irony in this story is when King Midas touches his food and it turns into gold. So therefore he can not even eat.

    Explanation:

The golden touch is a story which has been written by Albert Hurter. It is one of the most famous stories which all the children know and have read in their childhood.

The story teaches the lesson to the students to not to be very greedy and be happy with what you have no matter that whether you have less or more, just learn to be satisfied and content. This is shown in the story when the blessing of the King turns out to be a curse.

At the beginning of the story, when asked if the king would regret his wish, he replies, "What could induce me?" and at the end, he hated his ability.
