Stream - of - consciousness narrative style is a style that an artist - a poet or a writer - uses to talk about his / her deep feelings. The artist describes the things that happen in a character's mind. The artist goes from the character's unconsciousness to his/her consciousness all the time and this passage is generally activated by the present. The character's unconscious is sparked off by something that belongs to his / her present life. An ordinary person can also use this narrative style to talk about his / her emotions in a diary. Therefore, this narrative style is used to describe deep feelings and emotions; it is not used to talk about facts or science. We can find this style in a diary entry an in a poem.
