"A Sound of Thunder" by Ray Bradbury is a cautionary tale. It is entertaining, because most science fiction is. But its primary purpose is to get us to think.

    Explanation:

A theme throughout Bradbury's work is the need to for humans to be in control of the powerful technology we have developed or might develop in the future. His purpose for this short story in particular is to make humans (the readers) think. (Think about the events taking place within the story that is)
