What unique about the way Christopher views the world? how it is similar or different to the way you view the world? The curious incident of the dog in the nighttime

Christopher has a rare condition. He has difficulty understanding the people, their common behavior and the new environment. Due to his condition, he sees the world in a different perspective. Everything has to be scientifically and logically correct, which is not the case for a me, considering myself as a average normal person of the society.

For him, the daily aspects of life may seem weird and meaningless, which is not the case for me. He hates the colors yellow and brown. He cannot understand common phrase I used in daily language like "He is the apple of my eye". I often use such phrases because I know the meaning behind it, but I haven't ever thought what it literally means. If I think that way, I come to realize that it makes no sense, which is the case for Christopher. He takes everything in the literally meaning. Similarly, he couldn't understand why his father used to put on pants before socks. For me, or any other normal person, we may never think of it, because such things have become a part of our routine, which we are following without even thinking.
