What do you think the title, "The Great Gatsby," means? Is Gatsby "great"? Why or why not?

It means people perceived him as great although it depends on the character you ask if that’s what they believed. i believe gatsby is great because he was capable of captivating the hearts and attention of so many people when they never knew the real truth about him
