Which sentence uses a verb that agrees with its pronoun subject?

A. Each of them hopes to make new friends.

B. Many of the boxes of cereal was empty.

C. Everyone in the lower seats have the best view of the game.

D. Both of those girls practices regularly on their woodwind instruments.

I think it's A or C

    A. can be right

    B. was needs to be were because many is plural so we have to use plural linking verb which is like "were", "are

    C. can be right

    D. practices needs to be practice because both are plural so we have to use plural verb which is no "s" after the verb

    But I think the answer will be A. A is the most make sense
