    In trench warfare long Trenches, narrow ditches are created by digging the ground and it was the place where the soldiers lived. These trenches where very muddy, uncomfortable and because of this many soldiers developed a medical problems known as trench foot.

    Trench warfare was developed by the French military engineer Sébastien Le Prestre de Vauban.

    These trenches offered shelter to the soldiers from the storm of fires that came from the rifle, machine gun of the enemy.
