A The use of the scientific method in the Milesian school, while not completely refined, promoted observation and logical reasoning for philosophical questions that were previously answered by superstition.

    Explanation:

The Milesian school was one of the most important schools of thought in the Presocratic period.

The most famous philosopher of this school, and its founder, was Thales.

Members of this school of thought were mostly concerned with the nature, its four basic constituents (elements), their origin and transformations etc.

By carefully examining and observing nature, they started to practice a rough form of scientific method. Using it, they started to explain and understand nature and its phenomena rather then ascribing it to gods (Greek mythology gods).
