How the structure of "gumption" differs from that of "to build a fire"

    Gumption is told in first person while to build a fire is in third person. the conflicts differ because in gumption it is a physical thing that he refuses to do. in to build a fire it is a lack of communication, trust, and empathy that is the conflict and the result in to build a fire is far worse than that in gumption.
