Character sketch of Mr. Chips

Mr chips is the main character and hero of the novel. He in the novel is shown as a character who give importance to traditions, the one who uphold the traditions which were established since long. He was the best example of a teacher, who treats his students well. He was a gentle and kind English school teacher.
