What does one mean by "show, don't tell" in writing? describing the characters' thoughts and feelings but not how they appear or interact describing the characters' appearance, words, and actions in relation to other characters providing the plot of the story without describing the setting or the characters

    It means to like express your true feelings and dont use words like and, then, etc ...

    I think the answer would be somewhere along the lines of 'Describing the character's actions' actually.
