I was a lead in a project related to quality enhancement in a socks industry.

I, along with my team members went through the following steps to solve the lack of productivity in that plant;

A thorough visit to the plant to make notes of what machine and processes are being used to carry out the processes. Labor management and outsourcing facilities were taken into account. We made some technology enhancements which were a big hit. Labor management was streamlined for better productivity. The mapping of the different steps of sock making process was redesigned to save time and increase efficiency. 0.8% increase in productivity was achieved after implementing the above changes.
