    B) The National Park Service cites Edouard de Laboulaye as the person who came up with the idea for the statue.

The thing to keep in mind about plagiarism is that plagiarism encompasses everything from intentionally passing off another’s words as your own to a simple oversight in omitting a citation. If we look at option "B," we can see that the writer included where the information came from-the National Park Service. However, there is no citation for this information. Even if an author is being honest and tells readers who originally said information, if the citation is missing, this is considered plagiarism as well.
