    Explanation:

    It is a bit hard to choose the correct answer without reading the entire passage, but "A" is my assumption. If he IS talking about his nose, then it sounds like he wants to "get at it," which obviously shows that he dislikes his nose. The only option could be D, but his nose being "strange" doesn't quite seem like intimidation.
