Clara is the one who aims to imitate Eliza in Pygmalion.
Pygmalion is a play written by George Bernard Shaw in 1913, and tells the story of Higgins, who wants to educate Eliza, a simple girl, and turn her into a lady. Clara, Miss Eynsford, one of the characters in the play, is intrigued by Eliza and her way to ladyhood, and she starts imitating Eliza and the way she speaks.
