    Lady Capulet - Juliet's mother, Capulet's wife. A woman who herself married young (she gave birth to Juliet at about age 14), she is eager to see her daughter marry Paris. She is a poor mother, and relies on the nurse for moral support. Paris - A kinsman of the Prince who Capulet decides must marry Juliet.
