Why do the wolves regret their decision to side with Shere Khan in the jungle book?

    They realized that Akela was the true leader and even wanted him to stay after Mowgli chased Sheer Khan away but he decided not to because he knew he was too old. They realized who the Alpha was and that Sheer Khan is a bad guy and that they were deceived.
