When Odysseus goes to explore the land of cyclops, he goes with Zeus.

Explanation:

This happens when, Odysseus offends Zeus by attacking the Circones. Zeus in return blows them both off course to the island of the Cyclops. After an attack on the Cyclop, Cyclop's father the God of Sea Poseidon gets angry and refuses to send Odysseus home.

The land of Cyclopes, was a land of one eyed giants. They were very rough and behaved liked savages. Polyphemus, the cyclops angered Odysseus as Polyphemus captured the men Of Odysseus and kept them in a cave to eat them. This is the reason why Odysseus killed him.
