Insecurity is one of the main reasons why they are not ready to have a baby. If Erica becomes upset when Kenny doesn't remind her of her beauty, then that means that she is insecure and not mature enough to bring another life into their home. Though they finished college and have money saved up, they still enjoy hanging with single friends and having a good time. You cant do that when you have a baby. You have to give up all those things.
