Haimon's father, Creon, has sentenced Antigone to death for disobeying him and burying her brother. She is put in a cave with only one days food and there she hangs herself. Haimon loves Antigone and when he saw that she had committed suicide he is overcome with grief and so he ends up fighting with this father in the cavern, even though his father had gone to the cave to reprieve Antigone. So D is correct
