The foremost plot of the necklace is, Mathilde Loisel, a fashionable woman coupled to a clerk, desires for indulgences of aristocratic living. she is not happy with her requirements and thinks that she deserves more numerous things because of her value and beauty, one-day Monsieur Loisel takes her an invite to a party furnished by the Minister of Education, though Mathilde is not fortunate because she does not have a suitable dress to wear. Her husband admits giving her 400 franks to get clothes. Mathilde is yet miserable because she does not have any ornaments. Her husband tells her to adopt a bit of jewelry from her wealthy friend Mme Forestier. Matilde obtains a diamond necklace. After a charming party, she loses the necklace.
