The divine comedy was originally named just Comedy, the divine part was later added. There are three parts of the Divine Comedy, called Inferno (hell), Purgatorio (purgatory) and Paradiso (Paradise).

The correct answer is Purgatorio (purgatory).

The Divine Comedy is the title of Dante Alighieri's long narrative poem written back in 1320. The poem consists of three parts: Inferno (Hell), Purgatorio (Purgatory), and Paradiso (Paradise). It tells the story of the poet himself, going through Hell and Purgatory on his way to Paradise, where he wants to meet his beloved Beatrice.
