The suffixes - ed, - ful, - ing, and - y can be added to the end of the word taste. For which of the following do you not need to drop the final e before adding the suffix?

    You do not need to drop the "t" for the suffix - ful, here's why:

    Ex.

    Taste (ed)

    Taste (ful)

    Taste (ing)

    Taste (y)

    When you add the suffixes, and see which goes best, - ful is the best result.
