Morality is dependent on the existence of God, but it is not only the people that believe in God can upon moral considerations. A person can identify right from wrong if there is a law that governs a person's life.

Explanation:

The figure of God, and with him the system of religious beliefs, stablishes a moral guidance for people to follow. But there are people that do not believe in God and still can act upon moral considerations.

God is important as law is important, because it considers not to harm others other wise there are consequences.

By saying" If God doesn't exist everyrthing is permissible", this means that God teaches to be moral.
