Why does the author use the words "I felt as though my little leggings could hardly contain me" to describe the experience of killing the bear? In your response, explain the meaning of the sentence and its effect on your understanding of the event's significance.

    The meaning of the sentence is that the character feels although killing the bear has made him/her feel bigger and that they have grown since this act, the effect this has on the understanding of the event's significance is that the reader will conclude that after the event the character has grown or the character will feel that they have matured or gotten older.
