    As for the Princess the man she loved so much was in fact loving another woman; a maid instead of her. Her love turned into hatred as she thought of the pain seeing the man she loved so much marry another woman, so she contemplates giving him into the hands Tiger.

    Delia Jones (in the story "Sweat") on the one hand, suffered abuse at the hands of her husband whom she married out of love, also because of his unfaithfulness in the marriage she came to hate him.
