I am part of the "All Nations Club" at my school (Or I was when school was a thing). The club is mostly made up of Native Americans, but I am caucasian. Many people don't believe in racial privilege but it is definitely real.
When out with my club members and friends teachers, adults and other "white" people in our community looked at and treated my peers differently compared to how they treated me. Other white students would shoot them dirty looks but not do the same to me. Adults would stay to watch my friends but when I would show up, the adult seemed to leave.
It truly broke my heart to see how other "white" people treated or acted towards my friends whose only difference was the color of their skin.
