Assonance: repetition of the 'o' vowel sound in "on", "love's", "blood", "opposite", and "stood" (stood is a little less of perfect consonance, but it's close depending on pronunciation)

Consonance: repetition of the 's' consonant sound appearing at the beginning, middle, and end of words: "HelleSpont", "love'S", "oppoSite", "c (S) itieS", and "Stood".
