In Herman Melville's Moby-D*ck, what happens to the boat carrying Ahab when it nears Moby-D*ck? It is swallowed by the whale. It nearly capsizes from the whale's rolling motion. It is crushed by Moby-D*ck's tail. It sinks to the bottom of the ocean.
