    Answer and Explanation:

The poem "The cremation of Sam Mcgee" revolves around the theme of a freezing cold winter trip to Yukon, back in the days of the Klondike Gold Rush.

The author talks about the story of his friend, Sam McGee, who faces extreme weather and freezes to death while on the trail.

Sam McGee hated the severe cold weather and did not want to get buried in the frozen ground so he asked the speaker o dispose off his body by burning it to ashes when he dies.

So when he died, the speaker tried burning his body but instead of burning, Sam got alive because he was just frozen and needed some defrosting.
