Students who have read a section of a text and do not understand it should keep reading until the end of the story, when things will become clear. ask themselves when comprehension was lost. begin to copy any remaining text into their notes. push themselves to read faster in order to finish early and review.

    Explanation: If we are reading a text and suddenly realize that we aren't understanding what we are reading, the best thing we can do is to ask ourselves when the comprehension was lost, in this way we can go back and read that section again and make sure that we understand it. If we don't do that, and decide to continue reading, at the end, we won't be able to understand the text.
