    It would be the Greek dramatist Euripides that is currently credited to have written the first accounts on the ecstasy of dance. In addition, the first play that he made was named "The Bacchae" which is in reference to Bacchus, the Greek god of wine which is among the prominent figures in the Greek mythology.
