    The correct answer is C. Is this all? It's the silent question that the middle-class women in the 1950s and 1960s could never ask; but because of that, they suffered immensely. This question can be rephrased like this: is family, children, and the kitchen all there is to a woman's life? Can't she hope to achieve anything else beyond the chores and duties of a mother and a housewife?
