Jean Piaget noted that younger children frequently answer questions differently than older children because they (c.) think differently.

Jean Piaget conducted several studies of children's intellectual development. After carrying out different observations, Piaget concluded that younger children think differently because their cognitive processes and thinking patterns are different from those of older children and adults. Furthermore, according to him, cognitive development is closely connected to biological maturation. However, he never stated that younger children are less intelligent, he believed that they simply think in a different way.
