    A and B are definitely incorrect because there is no onomatopoeia in the excerpt above (onomatopoeia would refer to sounds such as quack, mew, chime, etc. none of which are present here). It's not D either because the mood is not angry - it is playful.

    Alliteration is the repetition of the same consonant in neighboring words - babes brown-striped, not black - here the letter b is repeated.
