    Explanation:

    1 Use the in-group solidarity to convey that this solidarity can also be extended to other groups and thus profit from larger groups.

    2 The homogeneity bias of the out-group derogation should be tackled by explaining that another group will presumably be as heterogeneous as the own group.

    3 Prejudice is an important element of the scapegoat theory, in which one group blames another group (with different biological or cultural traits) all too easily. The only way prejudice can be eliminated is by getting to know other persons of 'different' groups.
