Why did Shakespeare use iamb pentameter for the dialogue of noble characters while commoners often spoke in blank verse or pose

The nobles often used iambic pentameter because it would make them seem more educated and sophisticated in the context of the story; however, commoners used blank verse or prose to insinuate a less educated character.
