What is the main source of conflict in this passage? Bea slept during the day because she worked the night shift at a convenience store. But her apartment building had thin walls, and the television belonging to her old neighbor, Mrs. Kearns, blared game shows all day long. She knew that Mrs. Kearns had poor hearing, but she had to say something or she would never get any sleep. A. Bea is unable to sleep because Mrs. Kearns's television is too loud. B. Bea's apartment building has very thin walls. C. Mrs. Kearns has a hearing problem. D. Bea must sleep during the day because she works at night.

    D. Because if she didn't have to work the night shift she wouldn't have a reason to need to sleep.
