In addition I would say that the three main things to cover in a paragraph would be the content ie what you want to talk about, the explanation or the elucidation of or description of the topic and its elements and lastly the order of sentences so that the explanation is done in a logical order.

The three steps to writing a paragraph in the prewriting stage would usually be outlining, writing a topic sentence, and writing a supporting sentence. In outlining, you will be creating an outline of all your main topics with their respective subtopics under them, and your further subtopics under your subtopics. After creating your outline, you will fill in your main topics with your topic sentences supported by your supporting sentences, which you will write in your sub topics and further sub topics section.
