Which of these sentences uses the correct punctuation?

a. All the firefighters (sixty-three in all) were wearing their firefighting gear.

b. All the firefighters (sixty three in all) were wearing their firefighting gear.

c. All the firefighters sixty-three in all were wearing their firefighting gear.

    The answer would be A because it has the parenthesis around sixty-three in all and c does not, however they both have the dash mark so you could easily confuse the two if you don't pay attention to the parenthesis.
