    A good one is In A Wind Storm in the Forests, John Muir uses descriptive language to bring out the full beauty of the winds. He does this by appealing to the senses. Particularly, sight and sound are emphasized in this passage. He attempts to make the readers truly appreciate the subtle miracles present when the winds are at play.
