How do you summarize the main ideas in a research paper?

You take the information out of the book and put it all into some sentences or a paragraph

Find major events and try to generalize it. If the paper goes into detail only incorporate a vague amount of it. Pretend the read doesn't understand what your talking about. You need to give the general ideas of the research paper, all the main topics.
